This year, Hostwriter is honoring the journalists and creators who bring collaborative, cross-border storytelling to new platforms. From in-depth documentaries to short explainers on TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, YouTube Shorts, or LinkedIn.

Recently, our team has been busy with our current European Journalism x AI Fellowship for News Creators, a fully funded training initiative designed for news creators across Europe who are new to AI and curious about its impact on their daily work and journalistic practices.

We have enjoyed getting to know our new cohort of 50 journalists from across Europe and launching our online program, which equips them with the skills to productively engage with generative AI, both as beneficiaries and as critics, and to scrutinize it from an ethical standpoint.
