Dear Hostwriter Community,

We’re thrilled to launch the 2025 European Journalism x AI Fellowship for News Creators – a fully funded training initiative designed for journalists and news creators across Europe who are curious about Artificial Intelligence and its impact on their work.

AI is reshaping journalism, posing both challenges (like misinformation and trust erosion) and opportunities for storytelling and audience engagement. This fellowship will equip participants to critically and creatively engage with AI while experimenting with new ways of delivering fact-checked, impactful journalism.

We’re looking for news creators working on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, X, LinkedIn, newsletters, or podcasts.

Selected fellows will receive:

• 💶 €250 stipend upon course completion
• 📜 Certificate in Google AI Essentials (Coursera)
• 🌍 Access to a peer network of journalists across Europe
• 🖥️ Virtual training sessions (morning or afternoon options)
• 📚 Online modules with flexible self-study
